About Me
I am a Level 7 qualified specialist dyslexia teacher and assessor with over ten years of experience supporting and teaching students with a range of specific learning difficulties. I am committed to maintaining best practice and the ongoing development of my professional teaching and assessing skills. I am a qualified FE teacher and work primarily with teenagers and adults having worked in further and higher education for many years as a learning support and specialist study skills tutor. I am a qualified dyslexia assessor and can assess secondary and post 16 students for dyslexia. Reports are completed within the guidelines of the SpLD Assessment Standards Committee (SASC), and therefore can be used as evidence when applying for the Disabled Student Allowance (DSA). ​
